If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ... you are ahead of 500 million people in the world. If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are more blessed than three billion people in the world. If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace ... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. If your parents are still alive and still married ... you are very rare, even in the United States and Canada. If you can read this webpage, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all. WHAT A LONG STRANGE TRIP IT'S BEEN...... Born on April 21st under the sign of the Taurus, Oni's life has been a series of unexpected twists and turns. After his family accidentally acquired a green card, they packed their bags and left Argentina when Oni wasn't even a year old. Growing up in New York, Connecticut and Florida, he was heavily influenced by Classic Rock and his brother Omar, who had him playing drums in his band by the time he was 11. He soon knew exactly what he wanted and fronted bands like DEFIANCE and others in Florida. After doing studio work in New York, Oni went to California to join FERRARI. He parted when George Lynch offered him to be part of the to be formed LYNCH MOB. The Wicked Sensation Tour took him to Europe and Japan. Upon returning and touring the US, Oni realized, he wanted to continue his music career with a more meaningful message. He found his counterpart in Guitar player ROWAN ROBERTSON. Together they founded VIOLETS DEMISE and recorded what was to become an unreleased album, that has since been available as a qualitatively crappie bootleg. Disappointed in his misfortune, Oni lost himself for years, only to rediscover his love for music. He reappeared in the LA Club Scene with a band called HEAD SET. A group of close friends who had patiently drawn him out of his shell. No more the recluse he had been for so long, he once again enjoyed playing out. He also reunited with Lynch to go on tour with RONNIE JAMES DIO and ARMORED SAINT. After meeting up with Rowan Robertson again, Oni has been very busy writing, recording and creating this website which will update you on all current events, upcoming gigs, tours and album releases.
